Today we were joined by a great team of Conservative Future members, who were supporting Caroline in Romsey, Swaythling and Bassett. Conservative Future is the wing of the Conservative Party aimed at the under 30s. It is currently the largest youth political organisation in the UK.
In the morning we were campaigning in Knatchbull Close and later in Ashdown Way, Mead Close and Meon Road. Caroline met several people who were switching to the Conservatives this time, and had appreciated receiving the Contract from David Cameron over the weekend.
In Swaythling we concentrated mainly on the roads at the top end of Portswood behind the University, where we found many new supporters.
In the evening, David Willetts, his wife Sarah and dog Maisie came out in Bassett to support local Council candidate Beryl Harris.
