Conservative candidate for Romsey Caroline Nokes spent her Saturday morning helping the XLP Research Trust with their cake sale and collection.
Caroline said:
"This is a really important local charity and I was happy to be able to help out the Hartley family. It often comes as a surprise to people that I can bake cakes, but actually I find it really relaxing.
"It is a shame the weather wasn't better, and that the dalek couldn't come out much, but there was a fantastic response in the cornmarket and the cakes were selling really quickly."
